Event Overview:

Health Innovation West Midlands (HIWM) invites you to join our regional Pharmacy Network meeting.

The network has been developed to bring together pharmacy professionals across all sectors located in the West Midlands.

We aim to share learning and best practice in relation to Medicines Optimisation and showcase the great work which is taking place in the West Midlands. You can expect presentations from guest speakers, covering a range of clinical topics which are relevant to current regional and national priorities.

Please note this meeting will be recorded and the recording shared with registrants after the event.

Agenda:

The agenda is being finalised and will be updated. You can expect to hear presentations about:

  • Pharmacy First by Jackie Buxton – Regional Senior Pharmacy Integration Lead, NHS England – Midlands.
  • Parkinson’s Disease by Karen Kite – Lead Clinical Pharmacist, Solihull Rural PCN

Followed by dedicated time to network with colleagues on the call.

This event is for Pharmacists or Pharmacy Technicians who deliver services to improve our population’s health outcomes in the West Midlands. This includes those who may work in the following settings:

  • Primary Care Networks
  • Care Homes
  • GP practices
  • Community Pharmacy
  • Acute Trusts
  • Community Health Trusts
  • Mental Health Trusts
