Inclusive Health
Inclusive Health
We are excited to announce the launch of the Inclusive Health Programme!
Building on our successes from the past five years, Health Innovation West Midlands (HIWM) has partnered with iSE and the Living Well Consortium to introduce the newly designed Social Enterprise Programme called Inclusive Health. This initiative aims to bridge gaps and empower health through the capabilities of social enterprises.
The programme leverages the potential of social enterprises to tackle health inequalities, with the intention of creating a thriving ecosystem for social enterprise innovators. It seeks to drive innovation and generate a positive impact within the community and the region through the delivery of the Inclusive Health Programme, which consists of three key phases: Ideator, Incubator, and Accelerator.
If you are running a social enterprise or have an innovative idea in the region, we want to hear from you! We are looking for creative solutions in the health, social care, and well-being sectors that can create a social impact and have the potential to be scaled up to truly innovate the sector.
What’s on offer:
Key opportunities include:
- Access to Business support, mentoring, events, workshops, and specialists in this area
- Grants, partnerships, and sponsorships
- Fostering sustainability through a robust social enterprise community
Who is this for:
- Anyone in the West Midlands area with an idea to start a social enterprise, or who already has an emerging (pre trading) social enterprise for the Health and Social care Sector is eligible to apply.
- This opportunity is available to anyone focused on innovation in the Health and Social Care sector, including well-being, aiming to develop innovative ideas into scalable solutions.
- We are particularly interested in social enterprises dedicated to improving health and well-being within underrepresented communities.
How to apply: Applications are now open for the January 2025 programme.
If you are interested in applying, we recommend that you do so as early as possible, as there are limited spaces available and the demand for the programme is high.
