9 high potential digital health innovators selected for Grow Digital Health Midlands 2026 cohort

Nine innovators have been selected for the 2026 cohort of the Grow Digital Health Midlands programme.

Delivered in collaboration by Health Innovation East Midlands and Health Innovation West Midlands, the programme is now in its second year and supports companies to scale digital innovations within the NHS and wider care sector. It offers targeted support to enable the adoption, spread, and scaling of innovations across the Midlands health and care system.

Following a highly competitive process, receiving over 100 applications (more than double last year), nine companies have been successful and will receive a tailored package of support, including:

  •  Monthly one-to-one business coaching
  • Group workshops, training and development
  • Showcasing to NHS and care system stakeholders across the NHS Midlands region
  • Connections to relevant third-party subject matter experts
  • Exhibitions at significant digital health conferences and events
  • Showcasing to NHS and care system stakeholders across the NHS Midlands region
  • A funding opportunity exclusive to the Grow Digital Health Midlands cohort to support trialling and adoption in the NHS / care sector in the Midlands

The companies and innovations selected for the Grow Digital Health Midlands 2026 programme are:  

  1. Kidney Beam Ltd – The innovation Beam is a clinically proven exercise and lifestyle app tailored for cardio-kidney-metabolic conditions.
  1. Concentric Health – NHS-approved digital consent to treatment, replacing the traditional paper-based process, enabling shared decision making and remote consent.
  1. Evira – A clinically and scientifically evaluated digital solution for weight management.
  1. Heim Health – A productivity platform for NHS community care teams, that creates real-time visibility of demand and capacity to optimise care.
  1. Lucida Medical Ltd – The innovation Prostate Intelligence™ (Pi™) is CE certified AI powered solution improving prostate cancer diagnosis.
  1. Sanome– Supporting clinical teams to understand patients better and detect deterioration sooner
  1. BeneTalk – The innovation SuperPenguin is an evidence-based digital platform providing personalised speech, language and communication support to families.
  1. Upskill health -A mobile-based training platform that delivers bite-sized learning for NHS maternity staff.
  1. Written Medicine – A digital health platform improving patients' understanding of medical information.
