Genomics: The power of networking to drive genomic innovation
11.00am - 12.00pm
Online
The 10 Year Health Plan for England sets out ambitions to make genomics part of routine care across rare diseases, cancer and population health.
Alongside the Office for Life Sciences Sector Plan, and the National Cancer Plan for England, it highlights how research, science and innovation can support this ambition and help the health and care system better meet people’s needs.
As the public is becoming more aware of the benefits of genetic testing, and as more testing is becoming available, systems are coming together in a way that offers the potential to accelerate genomic innovation adoption.
